"Exceptional Ginger Teriyaki Chicken Burger and Outstanding Service I don't often write reviews, but my recent experience at Salty Dog Eatery in Deer Park deserves special mention. The Ginger Teriyaki Chicken Burger I had was one of the best burgers I've ever tasted, ranking right up there with the Margarita Grilled Chicken from Chili's, which has been a favorite of mine for over 25 years. The combination of flavors was exquisite, and the burger was perfectly cooked. Additionally, their coleslaw, made from scratch, was the best I've ever had—fresh, crisp, and perfectly seasoned. My waitress provided excellent service despite having at least ten tables to manage. She maintained a pleasant attitude throughout, making my dining experience even more enjoyable. To top it off, I enjoyed a pint of Coors Light, which complemented my meal perfectly. If you're in the Deer Park area, I highly recommend stopping by Salty Dog Eatery for a memorable meal."

I stopped in at this place on the way home from picking up an order nearby. I now make trips from Spokane to eat here about a half hour drive fairly regularly. Our dinner tonight was a one star at best. My chicken strips were so over cooked that they were a dark brown and hollow. My side salad had black, slimy lettuce and what appeared to be old tomatoes. When I called I told the owner this and she became defensive and blamed the poor quality of her salad mix on her supplier. She did say we could come back, but no thanks. Her attitude sealed the deal.
