"Mediocre is the word. We came here for beer as there are very few options in this area for booze. The food is mediocre; it’s edible, but not amazing. The batter on my fish was raw in the middle, and the fries were greasy and soggy. The Mac and cheese my daughter got was good. The service was mediocre; served the purpose the didn’t go above or beyond in any way. The worst problem here are the flies! Gross. I shouldn’t have to swat flies away from my food the entire time I’m eating. There were no less then 10 flies buzzing around our table. Yuck. For the experience it was VERY expensive, and underwhelming on all fronts. I ordered the fish and chips and was truly impressed by the quality of the food. Our waiter was very helpful and attentive. The firecracker coleslaw was fantastic, and the fries were crispy and delicious. Excellent work all around!

However, the tri-tip sandwich didn't quite meet my expectations. Personally, I prefer thinly sliced tri-tip on a sandwich, but this one was cut quite thick. Unfortunately, it was also overcooked, resulting in a chewy texture that made it hard to enjoy. While the flavor was good, having to gnaw through the sandwich detracted from the experience.
