"I loved going to Common Stock. My first visit to San Diego and I was thrilled to find an LGBTQIA+ friendly business. All of the staff members were super welcoming, friendly, and non-stop helpful. Everyone who passed by made sure I was well taken care of. I even think the owner went behind the bar and asked if I needed anything. He offered to remake my drink when I said the first sip of my Old Fashioned was sweet. To be fair, I'm usually a Manhattan drinker and Old Fashions are too sweet for me anyway. However, some of the ingredients for this one were made in house and tasted great! I ordered the truffle fries as an appetizer and the Chicken Sandwich with the Nashville Hot Sauce on it. Literally the BEST chicken sandwich I've ever had in my life! No joke. Definitely recommend this place."

What a delightful surprise! I hadn't planned on dining here, but I'm so glad I did. The food was delicious, the ambiance was inviting, and the customer service was outstanding. They also had a great selection of drinks and beers. I will definitely be returning!

My husband and I frequent common stock every week or two and it is a consistently great experience. Awesome drinks and damn, their chicken sandwich (nashville style) is so delicious! Oh and the warm brussels Caesar! Great music, friendly staff, and a great ambiance. Highly recommend this spot!

This is the only place I head to when I'm in the mood for fried chicken. I haven't found anyplace that serves a better fried chicken sandwich. The cocktail, beer, and wine selection is extensive and quite good, although the drinks we ordered were a bit on the small side. The ambiance is fantastic, and the interior is very charming. Got the pulled pork sandwich. Just a smidge dry but the flavors from the sauce, the meat, and the quality of the bread was still a home run. Also, the Brussel sprouts are legitimately amazing. I’m not overstating this, I will go back just for those Brussel sprouts. Make sure to get there early on a weekend as it rightfully gets packed!Food: 5/5

Wow one of the first places that I can tell I liked everything, good food, tasty drinks, nice place, cool music, excelent service!! I will definitely come back the next time I?m in town, the salted watermelon gimlet drink is really nice. I the photothe Prime Flat Iron Steak and the Nashville Hot Chicken amaizing both! This place is truly Hillcrest's best-kept secret. I've walked by numerous times and noticed it was always busy, and now I understand why! The atmosphere, the service, and the food are all fantastic—definitely a 5/5 experience! We tried the Umami fries, baby gem salad, and the chicken sandwich, and everything was delicious! Plus, if you're lucky enough to have Taylor as your server, your dining experience will be even more enjoyable. He crafted an incredible mocktail for my friend and was extremely attentive, providing the best service I've encountered! I can't wait to return!

You won’t find a better place than CommonStock anywhere in San Diego. The food is fantastic, made with high-quality ingredients, and the sauces reflect the many hours of hard work put in by the chefs. The owner and the entire staff are wonderful, welcoming guests at any time of day. I visited with my family tonight, and they took great care of us. The team is exceptional, and the food speaks for itself. You absolutely must try the rotisserie chicken with Brussels sprouts salad, the pork melt sandwich, and the artichoke appetizer. Everything on the menu is great—I’ve tried it all. It’s the only place where I enjoy every cocktail and end the night feeling pleasantly tipsy. I love them all!
