"Our server was the epitome of etiquette, charm, and charisma. He should be shadowed and train anyone in hospitality and service. We split the 14 Oz prime rib cooked to perfection, the house salad was wonderful (almonds yea please), and I heard another guest say that was the best salad he had in a long time. This place is very organized and run right. They had an apple cider so I indulged. My husband had a devils backbone lager and he said it was good. He is a yeng ling (I know I didn't spell that right) guy. I love onion strings and hate onion rings. They had onion strings! They were so good. The honey croissants were fresh warm and the sinister enabler of my gluttony. Ok so maybe the brownie topped with ice cream was the final straw in my gluttony? I don't care. It was so yummy and it was date night. Will be coming back. Best place in Chapin for an excellent dinner. Still the best in Chapin. Prime rib is fabulous, salads are awesome, great salmon. Tenders are perfect even though they're fried. Honey butter croissant is delicious!! Good service, never had a bad meal. Lady bartender is phenomenal, wish I could remember her name. It's our go to when wanting to stay close to home. Decided to do an “app” night dinner here and wasn’t disappointed. The firecracker shrimp is amazing (did sauce on the side as my wife doesn’t like sauce on her shrimp). The she crab soup was just ok but I still liked it. Yummy quesadilla and delicious croissants. Solid side salad. The apple caramel dessert was delicious but after all this food I only had one bite. Bad attitude and not happy at all. This was our first time eating here and we had high hopes since Chapin doesn't offer many sit down restaurants. The hostess did not give us a menu. The bartender never made eye contact with us, we had to ask for a menu and for silverware. It wasn't like the restaurant was busy as we went on a Monday at 230 pm. Celebrating a birthday while traveling and we randomly choose this restaurantwe had a fantastic experience..from our exceptional waitress, to the atmosphere, to the fabulous tasting food—everything we ordered was delicious..we loved our evening out. The honey butter croissants are heavenly, my Caesar salad was perfect—perfect amount of dressing and dark greens were crisp and fresh, the hot lava shrimp was so tasty good, everything was excellent!
