"We were in the area and asked for a recommendation of a good place to eat. Dashers was the first place emphatically mentioned. So we went. A booth was open right away and we got down to business. We started with a drink order and then ordered food My wife got the Fish and Chips but substituted the chips with broccoli. The portions were substantial and the fish and broccoli were really good! The tartar sauce was a great addition. I ordered the Steak Homer. The tenderloin medallions were seasoned and cooked to perfection. The mashed potatoes and asparagus were amazing sides. We decided to go with the special for dessert which was a cinnamon bun bread pudding ALA mode. It was sooo good. I highly recommend Dasher's. Go there if you can."

This restaurant is a wonderful find in Homer. The prices are quite reasonable, and the food is excellent. I tried the seared tuna avocado BLT for $15, and it was very filling. The homemade corn chips were a nice touch as well. I will definitely be back!

Everything was fantastic! I ordered the Manhattan Steak, scallops, potatoes, and asparagus, and it was all outstanding. We finished off the meal with coffee and ice cream. I can’t emphasize enough how delicious everything was, and our waitress was incredibly friendly. I give this experience a perfect 5 out of 5 stars, and we'll definitely be returning more often!

The good: prime rib soup was good, cool atmosphere, and they buy their products locally. There are a few GF options. The bad: the children's menu is $13 and the Mac and cheese came with no sides and was the size of a soup bowl (see attached picture). Way overpriced. In general prices are very high, so just know before you go. Lastly, slow service on a busy Saturday night. Food was okay.

The service and food are outstanding, although parking can be somewhat tricky, and the outdoor seating could use some improvement. However, these are minor issues. I highly recommend visiting multiple times to sample the various dishes. The menu is straightforward and not overwhelming with options. Absolutely delicious! The menu offers an excellent variety, ranging from small bites to full-course meals. The drinks were wonderful, featuring a nice selection of beers and wines. The seafood dishes we ordered were outstanding, and the charcuterie board was equally impressive. Our waitress provided A+ service. I hope we can return soon; it was truly a memorable dining experience, and the prices were surprisingly reasonable.

This charming and well-decorated corner bar and restaurant has a lot to offer. Our waitress was friendly, but she didn’t check in on us often since we were sitting outside on the patio. The food was delicious and reasonably priced, although it did take quite a while to arrive on a busy Friday afternoon. I would definitely return if I were in the area. One suggestion would be to provide sturdier tables with umbrellas in the front.

One of the best meals I’ve ever had was at this restaurant. We enjoyed clam chowder (it beats all the famous Boston clam chowders), a perfectly classic shrimp cocktail, Dasher’s filet (I can't wait to have it again), and a New York strip served with Béarnaise sauce. Oh! And the focaccia bread with honey butter is a perfect blend of salty and sweet! We wanted to try the profiteroles for dessert, but we were too full. We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant! The food was fantastic, and the service was exceptional. We discovered it by chance while traveling to visit family in New York, and it was so delightful that we decided to stop by again on our way home. We enjoyed the crab cakes, lobster bisque, and grilled cheese sandwiches, finishing off with the coconut cream cake for dessert. I absolutely love this restaurant and think it perfectly captures the essence of an American city!

I stopped by today after visiting Homer Men Boys clothing store nearby. I like to come here a few times a year after shopping. As usual, we sat at the bar, while some groups enjoyed sitting outside. The bar features a great selection of craft beers from New York State, as well as a few ciders. The old bar has a lot of character, and I enjoy watching a game while waiting for our meal. We started with tuna and avocado, and then ordered their double burgers. Everything was fresh, and the atmosphere was really nice as always.
