"What was good was they let me change locations. We ended up dining at the National Harbor location. From there it was all down hill. We were seated within minutes of our reservation time. However, once seated it took minutes for a waiter to come over and take our drink orders. When the waiter did approach we gave drink orders along with appetizers (oysters and calamari). They came about minutes later. Next came the drinks of lemonade, a margarita and an old fashioned. By the look of the old fashion you could tell the drink had been made and just sat waiting to be delivered to the table as it now also taste like it was spiced water. Next our food order was taken and again another long wait. I ordered a ribeye cooked medium. It arrived rare and immediately had to be sent back. Our waiter told us the manager would come speak to us. We ended up having to request her. When she came over she first looked at us like why you request me. My cousin goes on to tell her how bad the service was, as she’s eaten in the location several times and this time it was below par. She asked for specifics and I broke it down for her. We asked the manager for another lemonade for my daughter and she said it would be right out. We saw that lemonade minutes later when it was brought to their attention, the lemonade never came out. This was a birthday dinner that was not so great"

Salad drenched in dressing. Crab cake was mushy and very salty.

Another trip to McCormick and Schmick's. We've been to different M&S locations. The first was the K location which we return to every year. This was another enjoyable night. We'll return in the Spring

So disappointed in the taste/quality of our food. Not at all what I remember from my last experience at a M&C. Staff was nice but not the best trained. Atmosphere was lovely. Just the food itself wasn’t that good View menu

Service was extremely slow even with three servers at the bar they spent more time talking than offering service. I had to raise my hand to obtain another drink or place an order.Management was non existent never saw a manager or anyone that would provide assistance.

Our experience was horrible all because of the service. Our waiter Dwayne was the worse! He dropped food and dishes on my friend, he told me that I need to order a different meal when I asked to modify my meal (change a side and dressing) he also tried to sell us some type of membership while we were trying to enjoy our meal and celebration. He also tried to educate us his people he called us (black people) on why we need to stop ordering meat well done. It’s was a problem for him to order what I wanted paying my on money. He also kept forgetting to bring things we’d ask for. I can’t believe such service from a “fine dining” restaurant. I’ve never been treated like this in in any type of res...

"I typically always forget to write google reviews but this place deserves every word I have to say. I found this spot because the luggage storage app, bounce, sent me here to hold my bags while I toured apartments for the day. Before I left my bags, I decided to try a quiche which was so much better than expected. Growing up in my father's deli, I tend to have high standards for most food because I can usually recognize good ingredients so safe to say I was definitely pleasantly surprised with my quiche. Around mid-day I fell walking around in NoMa and severely hurt my knee. Rather than continuing my tours for the day I decided to come back to pick up my bags and potentially go to the airport to arrive early for my flight. When I got to Old City Market and Oven, they actually gave me ice for my knee and let me sit downstairs uninterrupted. While I was downstairs the cashier told me to call the number in case I needed anything so they can come down and help because they didn't want me walking up the stairs for anything stupid. To say they were sweet was understatement, the level of care I received felt like I was in one of my dad's restuarants growing up which in my opinion is not something you see these days. I decided to have a pizza while I waited because another customer said it was amazing. Even though I was skeptical due to the paper menu, they really did their big one with that pear pizza. This spot really made my day and it makes me happy establishments at this tier still exist."

"For a special occasion, make a reservation at Michelin star Reverie, a small restaurant inside a Georgetown alley. If you 're lucky, you 'll meet Poppy the Alley Cat that is taken care of by the community, including by the staff at Reverie. My wife dined at Reverie on a Thursday evening. Here 's our experience. 1) Experience: It 's a Michelin star restaurant so expect superb service. It 's clear that the chef is passionate about his craft and his passion is contagious. Every staff member from our server to the chefs who brought out our food, everyone was knowledgeable, friendly, and approachable. Throughout the stay, we were given wet towels to wash our hands in between snacks. Our water glasses were kept full. If we really loved a dish, our server would point out elements or teach us tips on how to use similar flavors at home. The journey begins with savory snacks and ends with sweet ones. Since the menu changes often, a copy of your dinner 's meu is given to you to take home at the end. It 's a perfect memento, especially if you 're celebrating something special. 2) Food: Reverie 's menu changes, but whatever you 're served will be innovative, fresh, and full of flavor. It 's also a tasting menu. When we went in May 2025, the menu included 17 different bites/dishes. The meal starts and ends with three small bites. The next nine dishes mainly included seafood and one was elk. Every dish is presented on a design-forward plate and came in full color and plated perfectly. A sign of a good restaurant is perfection in every dish and there wasn 't a bad one. We thoroughly enjoyed every single one, but our favorites were the Scallop, which comes in a fun sunchoke cracker sandwich, Hiramasa with juniper and caviar, and the Carolina Gold Rice. 3) Drink: Reverie 's drink menu comes with cocktails named after neighborhoods from around the world, wine, and other options. The Golden Gai is now my wife 's favorite Old Fashioned. She ordered two. For a sweeter refreshing cocktail, get the Old San Juan. For a refreshing, but sherry-forward cocktail, I recommend the Roma Notre. The dinner begins with chilled tea for all and it is very tasty. Savor it. At the end, you 'll have an opportunity to order more tea. Each blend is unique. I recommend any of it. 4) Price: It 's $245 a person for the tasting menu and additional prices for drinks, but for a quality dinner experience, it could be more expensive. We found it to be a fair price, especially for a special occasion. 5) Space: It 's beautiful! The design is not ornate, but rather simple, making it classy. There are two unisex restrooms in the back. When you sit down, you 're offered small stools to place your phones, belongings, etc. 6) Neighborhood: Inside an alley, there 's much to explore nearby from other top restaurants, cafes, and historic homes. We usually find street parking nearby by the Georgetown Waterfront Park. Price per person: $100+ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5"
